Surf Rescue Certificate (SRC)

The SRC course will commence at Jason Lamb Splash Factory Tuesday 20th, 9.00 am -11.00 am

I will also add two courses as we can only have a max of 16 in one course. It will not matter which course you enroll in.

The SRC is an award that acts as a gateway to the lifesaving movement, providing the skills to patrol the beach effectively and contribute to the team. To complete the course, you need to do a timed swim, attend our course, complete a workbook and pass an exam including both written and practical demonstration components. Warrnambool SLSC will run an SRC course over the Christmas period.

SRC holders are invited to participate in ‘water safety’ and patrols becoming valued members of the lifesaving movement.

What next: For SRC holders wanting to take it further, why not expand on your knowledge and complete the Bronze Medallion (for ages 15+).

SRC PRE-REQUISITES
Candidates must meet ALL of the following conditions:

be at least 13 years of age on the date of final assessment have completed a 200 metre swim in five (5) minutes or less, unaided (goggles/mask permitted), in a swimming pool of not less than 25 metres. For more information please call:
