Here are dates for the Bronze Medallion course for this year.

Warrnambool SLSC – Bronze Medallion course 2020-21
The Bronze Medallion provides the opportunity for participants to develop the skills and knowledge of basic patrolling and surf awareness, to be able to participate in lifesaving operations. This is the core award to be a surf lifesaver in Australia. At the conclusion of this course, participants will have developed the knowledge and skills to enable them to demonstrate competence and be awarded with the Bronze Medallion.

Prerequisite:
Candidates must meet the following conditions:
· Financial Club member
· Be at least 15 years of age (within 60 days of final assessment) Due to Covid restrictions this course will be adults only.
· Complete a 400‐metre swim in nine (9) minutes or less, unaided (goggles/mask permitted), in a swimming pool of not less than 25 metres, or over a measured open watercourse.
This will be scheduled into one of the following dates.

Then book into the course.

This is a blended course and there will be some online learning throughout.

Monday 23rd Nov 5pm – 9pm
Tuesday 24th Nov 5pm – 9pm
Sunday 29th Nov 9am – 1pm
Monday 30th Nov 5pm – 9pm
Tuesday 1st Dec 5pm – 9pm
Sunday 6th Dec 9am – 1pm
Monday 7th Dec 5pm – 9pm
Tuesday 8th Dec. 5pm – 9pm

Assessment:
Sunday 13th Dec 9pm – 5.30pm

You will need to attend all sessions.
The course has online content plus face to face?
LSV requirements are 42.5 hours of face to face.
