Hi Members,

Skill Maintenance will be a little different this year.

Due to Covid restriction we can only hold a SM with no more than 12 per group.
The following times have been established, and once it is full no more members will be allowed. ‘Due to Covid restrictions members need to book via LSV Member Training from Anywhere portal’
You will need to do the following to register for SM 2020-21

A summary of the skills maintenance process is provided below:
A) Make sure your Club membership is up to date for the 2020-21 season.

B) Access and complete the online learning / theory exam in the member training portal.

C) Book into the selected skills maintenance session through the member training portal
D) Receive a confirmation email and check all details are accurate
E) Attend the face-to-face session/s and present your online theory completion certificate
F) Get your skills maintenance card signed off by an endorsed TAF

20/21 Bronze Skills Maintenance
Online theory completion (before Face to Face) required for ALL awards held including Bronze, IRB Crew, IRB Driver (must complete crew), Advanced Resuscitation
DRSABCD demo ADULT and CHILD on mannikins
Resus COVID adjustments demo (including Donning/Doffing PPE)
No ventilations to manikins/patients
Use surgical mask on patient if possible
Advanced Resuscitation SM (if applicable) @ 10.30 only
Spinal Management demo
Radio Demo
Signals X 4
Board/Tube COVID cleaning demo
Run-Swim-Run
IRBD – Assessor to sight IRB Driver Licence and document on SM card
No practical assessment due to Covid restrictions
Cannot be an IRB driver/crewperson this season if you did not complete practical proficiency last season.

SM at 10.30am will have Advanced Resuscitation SM included, if you need this please enrol in SM time.
